Raining! Hard! And a lot! And next is a thunderstorm! Repeat for at least a week! Wow! Looks like I’m going to get a lot of quilting and card making done this week.
Sometimes when
I sit down to make a card I just want to pick a random item or a piece of scrap
paper and then decide what kind of card I can make from it. Here is one of
them.
I think for this card I found
that flower cluster in my flower stash and decided it was time to use it. To
keep the flower cluster as the focal image it was simply adhered to a die cut stitched
circle. It was placed on the pink cardstock that was mounted on the deep burgundy card base but it needed something behind it. So, back into the stash I
went and pulled out more burgundy cardstock and the designer paper. That looked
better but it needed something else. I have some ladybug embellishments (thrift
store find) and added one of those. Still needed something else. A butterfly
that hung over the stitched circle was perfect for it. Done!
That’s all for a very rainy Friday on June 25, 2021. Have a
wonderful, safe and creative weekend everyone.

PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account,
simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it
sometimes takes a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account
to save the card.
