Brrr. There was a very cold wind blowing today but I did get all bundled up and out for a walk. There are still a few leaves left on the trees and lawn so Joe actually cut the grass that mulched the leaves too for the last time this year. He wanted to use up as much of the gas in the lawn mower that he could.
Today’s card would be considered quick and easy, but still looks nice.
The background was from a 6” paper pack that was cut down to fit on a standard A2 card. Then I used a stylus to add more snow drops. The deer was from another page and I actually hand cut it - including around those antlers - inked the edges with black and glued it on. The sentiment was die cut three times and glued together. I traced around the outline of the die onto a piece of velum and hand cut it. Then the sentiment was glued to the velum. A little glue on the back of the letters was enough to hold it in place on the card. It was then mounted on a white card base.
That’s all for a cold and windy Monday, November 22, 2021.
Cheers
Violet
