Well its definitely fall here in Ontario. The weather is cold and wet with a bit of frost most nights. I’ve not been feeling the best this week (under attack from the brain disorders) but I did get a lot of Christmas cards made. I did get some good news this week though. One of my cards was selected to be in the “Card of the Month”. Here is the link if you should wish to vote for my card. Card of the Month: November 2021 - Creative Scrapbooking Ideas & Tips (creativescrapbooker.ca)
Here is my card that was selected.
And now for a Christmas card.
When I’m not feeling well, I’m not terribly creative but I like to do something, so I sat and made backgrounds like this one. Various strips of paper and cardstock mixed in with thin strips of red or silver or shiny red strips glued to a piece of blank paper on an angle. Then I trim off the bits sticking out the ends a bit and they are run through an embossing folder. Then I trim them down to 4 x 5 1/4 and mount them on a standard card base. Then each one is finished later on. For this one I used a tag that came in one of the 6” paper packs but stamped my own sentiment and added the red bow.
That’s all for a cold day on November 4, 2021
Cheers
Violet
