We had some pretty nice fall weather to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving. It’s the end of the camping season now so the parks are pretty sparse with people. Our seasonal pass ends at the end of October and Joe finds the park pretty depressing after Thanksgiving, so we seldom go there. Instead, we enjoy walking in a small but nice bush lot here in Chatham….but I’m already looking forward to spring.
Here's one more Halloween Card.... The Skelton Lady.
I loved this pre-printed card from the paper pack. I flipped through the paper pack and found a page with black and white butterflies and moths. This was used to be the background paper and was glued to the 5 x 6.5 card base.
I left the pre-printed card pretty much intact as 4 x 6 and mounted it on that wine and black paper from the same pack. Then the finished card was glued to the background paper. It needed something more. So, I hand cut some of the moths and glued them on, one on the card panel on the bottom left and one on the top right lining it up with the same moth that was on background piece. Then I hand cut the large butterfly but ran purple ink over it to give it a more eerie look and glued it on, once again lining it up with the butterfly on the background piece.
That’s all for a windy and likely rain later on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Cheers
Violet
