We had a few days of a cold north wind blowing and then two beautiful warm days and now back to cold! This is why people get sick this time of the year. This trend is supposed to continue for all of October too. I’m so looking forward to spring already!
But, seeing as it’s fall and I’m in the Halloween card making spirit, here’s another one I just finished. This is another 5” x 6.5” card.
The main focal card is another pre-printed card that was in the paper pack. A piece of green Halloween paper was glued to the card base. The Rose’ card was trimmed down and glued to the green piece of paper. Gold peel-off thin strips were added all around it to make it stand out more. The skeletons were hand cut from a strip of cardstock than came with the paper pack and that is as large as they came. They were glued down and then another thin gold peel-off strip was added to hide where they ended.
The sentiment was die cut twice, once in that wine colour and once in white and then glued together but off-side so the white shows as a shadow. It needed something else and I remembered that I had some peel-offs left over from a wedding set and sure enough, the bottle of wine was still on the sheet. I called this one finished.
Have a wonderful, safe and creative weekend everyone….and spread cheer and kindness everywhere. This weekend is our Canadian Thanksgiving Celebration. We have so much to be thankful for!
Cheers
Violet
