It has been a busy week and it has flown by once again. My computer is old and some nights its so slow I just give up on it. Some of the Christmas cards have been received so I can post a few of them. I’m not sure I have a ‘style’ of cards I make unlike a lot of card makers. I fluctuate my style depending on my mood! I make a lot of beautiful Christmas cards but then I switch to a humourous one like this one.
This picture was a free download from the Internet and seeing as I love birds, I just had to use it. This would classify as a quick and easy card. The photo was mounted on red cardstock and then onto the white card base. A strip of red (same cardstock as behind the photo but it looks darker in the photo) mounted on a very dark red that looks black. The greeting is a gold peel-off. I added some small glitter stars and called it done.
That’s all for a very mild Friday, December 15, 2023. The temperatures have been around 40F most of the week…which is about 10 degrees higher than it normally is. …no complaints from us!

Ps: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply over over the image until the “Pin It” symbol appears and then click …. be patient, it sometimes takes a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
Aaawwww that card is sooo cute Violet! And so YOU! We have had a cold and rainy 3 days (2 1/2") . But now we are warming back up into the 60's F. My morning walk this morning will be a cold 37 F ... but i know the longer i push it off to when its warmer the less likely i will go.. Hugs! deb
