Christmas Card

Time to start showing the Christmas cards I've made for this year. They had a major white-out snow condition in London yesterday, which is just a little over an hour's drive away from here. Nothing here though but it got me to thinking of getting the rest of the Christmas cards done. London is in a snow belt so they get a lot of these squalls that miss us.

Sometimes you just need to make some cards that don't take ages to colour. This is one of them.
The background was a plain off-white colour so I took a selection of snowflake stamps and inked them with creamy-gold ink and stamped them randomly. The tree was stamped and embossed in gold on black cardstock and then glued to the gold paper. The sentiment was from those peel-and-stick sheets. The camera did not capture this card well and it is quite striking in person.
