Bellarific Friday Feb 24

I was so tired last night that I couldn't sleep. Isn't that weird! Overtired I guess. I tossed and turned until I finally fell asleep and then I must have woken up 6 or 7 times during the night. It snowed a bit overnight and then it poured rain this morning. Such a weird winter we are having. Today is going to be a quiet day I think.

This week Stampin' Bella posted a sketch for us to make a card from. Nice sketch. I liked this one a lot.

This is the first time I used this Stampin' Bella stamp. Sometimes its hard to find "guy" cards and there are a lot of golf courses around here so I figured a golf card would go over big. He's coloured with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I happened to have a golf brad in my stash of brads and I thought it would go very well here. The background paper is from a new paper pack I picked up at the Paper Pickle - try saying that fast five times! The dark green is from my stash and I'm pretty sure its from Stampin' Up. Instead of stitching the corners, I used my Tim Holtz ruler and a fine tip Sharpie and just made dots. I did stitch with thread on the strip across the middle. The tiny gold sentiment is a peel and stick.
