Merry Monday 8 card

There is a blog that I follow called Always Playing with Paper  and every Monday they have a challenge using a sketch - but it has to be a Christmas card. Their idea is to make one Christmas card a week so by November you will have a good start on the Christmas cards you need. I thought this was such a good idea that I have been making a few Christmas cards each week. I got so tired of making them last fall I just knew I couldn't wait and do them all at once again. I need variety I guess.  I guess? No guessing needed seeing as I make cards, scrapbook, paint, sew, quilt, bead, play with polymer clay, photography and now mixed media pieces! No wonder I'm tired!

Anyway, check out their blog and follow along. Here's my card.

The gnome stamp is a single stamp so I just stamped him on scrap paper and used it as a mask to stamp multiple ones. These guys were coloured with TomBow markers and blended with water. I added Stickles to their beards. The dies are Spellbinders, of course and the paper and ribbon are from my stash.
