Well,
I can no longer say that I never get sick! Thursday night we went to a hockey
game and I felt fine there, when we got home and even when I went to bed. Then
I woke up cold which was odd because the furnace had come on; then I got really
cold; so cold and shivering so hard that I couldn’t even pick anything up; then
I got hot, very hot; and then the flu hit. Oh boy, what a way to spend a nice
weekend. I figured it was just the typical 24 hour flu but it has surpassed the
expiry date! I’m now just tired and headachy but pretty much over it.
Tomorrow
one of my grandsons turns 11. Here is his card.
This
is a Stamping Bella stamp that is likely still available but I no longer even
check out her site so I’m not 100% sure. The wizard was coloured with my
favourite medium, Prismacolor pencils, and blended with gamsol. The background
is various Distress Inks. The globe was covered with Glossy Accents and in real
life it looks like glass. The other paper is just from my stash. Rather than
leaving the brown paper plain, I ran it through an embossing folder to add some
texture. Boys and men don’t like ribbons and bows but they will tolerate bakers
twine!
Cheers
Violet
