Well
here’s the update on the respiratory bug – it doesn’t want to leave me! After
11 long days of feeling poorly I finally gave up and called for a doctor’s
appointment today. Yes, I know we have free health care in Canada and I
don’t have to pay for a doctor’s visit or any tests he prescribes but I really
thought this was a virus and a virus is usually gone in 7 – 10 days. He did not
detect any pneumonia in my lungs but was concerned enough to get me on
antibiotics right away. I hate taking medication but sometimes I just have to.
Hopefully they will work quickly and they should if it is bacterial as I seldom
take antibiotics so I have not built up a resistance to them.
I
did not make any cards; do any scrapbooking, quilting, painting or anything
else for the last 11 days. I do have a few cards on hand that I have not posted
yet though so I thought I’d use one of those today.
This
is a Stamping Bella stamp; coloured with Prismacolor pencils and blended with
gamsol. I have some of this lovely paper with the light green background and
tiny roses decided to use that as inspiration for the image. Not much else to
say except it was fun to colour.
Hopefully I’ll be back to making some new cards soon but that’s all for today.
Cheers
Violet
