Another
hot and humid day here in Ontario
and it will be even hotter tomorrow but a thunderstorm is predicted and perhaps
it may cut the humidity a bit. This is the hottest summer we can remember. We
normally walk almost every morning but not this year. Even by 9:00 its way too
hot for us to walk.
Today’s
card is another Crazy Cat card to send to someone who really doesn’t like
birthdays. I love the expression on this Crazy Cat.
The
cat was coloured with water coloured pencils and blended with water. It was
stamped with Archival Ink on cheap water colour paper, which is fine for cards.
The background paper is from a Studio G 6” paper pack. The cat and black circle
behind it were both cut with Spellbinder’s circles. I wanted the sentiment to
pop so a banner was stamped on top – used my homemade Misti again – and then
cut out and some pink and red ink sponged over top. The sentiment is computer
generated.
Don’t
forget you are more than welcome to save any cards to your Pinterest account
for future reference. Simply place the curser over the picture until the
Pinterest sign shows up and enter. This will take you to your Pinterest
account.
That’s
all for a hot and humid Thursday. Big thanks to the person who invented air
conditioning!!!
Cheers
Violet
