When it rains, it pours….and it’s been raining
here off and on for days and will continue tomorrow and Sunday. Several cities
and towns along several different rivers have been evacuated because of
flooding. We are safe where we are but I feel terrible for those who are
dealing with water flooding their homes.
Today’s card features an Inkadinkado dragonfly
stamp. A friend of mine loves dragonflies and as soon as she saw it she pounced
on it and asked for it…of course I let her have it.
The background is another one made with Distress
inks smeared on a piece of plastic; sprayed with water and then the water
colour paper laid on top of it…likely a few times but dried in between. The
black fancy die cut it is on is from Spellbinders. The black lace at the bottom
is a Stampin’ Up stamp. It is mounted on the green card base.
That’s
all for a very wet Friday, February 23, 2018. Have a wonderful, safe and
creative weekend everyone. I’ll be back on Monday with another post.
Cheers
Violet
