Ahhh, we can breathe easily outside now! A short
rainfall last night broke the heat wave and the temperatures dropped to a
respectful degree – it was in the mid 70F today. Some areas got a severe
thunderstorm with torrential rain but most of it missed us, as usual. We could
use a good rain. Seeing as it was so nice today we packed up the bikes and had
our first bike ride of the year. It was very windy at Rondeau Provincial
Park but sunny and it was
a lovely way to spend the day.
Today’s card was made with an Art Impression
stamp. Love their stamps.
Once again it was coloured with pencils and
blended with gamsol. The background was chalked. Stickles were added to the
candle flames. I stamped this image three times and used three different
sentiments….which were computer generated. All the rectangles were die cut with
Spellbinder’s dies. All the paper is from the stash.
That’s all for a lovely summer day on Friday, July
6, 2018.
Cheers
Violet
