We finally had a couple days of rain! Too bad it
had to fall on the weekend, but we needed it so badly few complained. They are
predicting thunderstorms off and on for the next seven days but the one that
was supposed to hit us this afternoon never did so it’s day to day if we get to
do anything. This morning we took a chance and walked to the library and back
but it turned out to be a hot and humid walk so a little more tiring than we
thought it would be.
There have been so many terrible accidents (Duck
boat in Missouri ) and shootings (Toronto and other places)
that I decided to post a sympathy card today.
The flowers were a free download from the Internet
and they were coloured with pencils and blended with gamsol. The background was
chalked while it was still in the Elizabeth
Craft stitched rectangle die which leaves a nice white border. It was mounted
on green paper and then onto a light green card base. The sentiment was also a
die cut. I tied a skinny yellow ribbon around it and tied a bow and called it done.
That’s all for a hot and humid and possibly
thunderstormy Monday, July 23, 2018.
Cheers
Violet
