The
weather outside is…well, not frightful…yet…confusing it is: rainy and cold one
day (Saturday); up to almost 50F the next with some sun; and then in the
afternoon we were under a severe thunderstorm watch; then today back to rain
with a few flurries. Like I said, confusing. It’s the time of weather that
seems to bring on a lot of cold and flu.
Today’s
card is a Christmas card made with one of my favourite dies – the window frame
from Memory Box.
There is a piece of thin plastic behind the frame to
mimic glass. Its amazing what a difference that makes…although it doesn’t show
well on the photo….in real life everyone it looks nice. I ran an ink pad around
the frame to give it some dimension. The kittens are from a used greeting card
that was repurposed instead of being thrown in the recycle bin. For the
background I ran some Kraft cardstock through the brick embossing folder and
then lightly sponged on some Stampin’ Up Crumb Cake over it and then splattered
on some white paint for snow flakes. Once the kittens and window were glued on;
the die cut ferns were added and then the label. Then everything was glued to a
Kraft card base. I have many cat lovers on my Christmas list so I’m not sure
who is going to get this one.
That’s
all for a rainy Monday, December-03-18.
Cheers
Violet
