Last night we were under a tornado warning…luckily
none occurred but some areas near us had very strong winds which took down some
large trees. We are still under a heat warning and a severe thunderstorm
warning for this evening and overnight. This has been quite the summer!
A couple of
weeks ago I posted a card that had die cut stars on it…scroll back to find it.
The piece of cardstock that I had die cut the stars from still had lots of
solid space so I decided to make it into a card as well. Here’s how it turned
out.
I
simply found some coordinating paper…from the stash…and die cut stars out of
it. The solid piece was glued to a white card base because I wanted to inlay
some of the stars. Some were glued into the open spaces, some were glued on
top. Then a simple black peel-off sentiment was added.
That’s all for a hot and humid Monday, July 29, 2019.
If I don’t melt, I’ll be back on Wednesday with another card.
Cheers
Violet
