Oh oh, fall is definitely here. The nights are very chilly and although the sun is shining, that wind is a fall wind for sure. But it could be worse; the
Today’s card was made with a piece of scrap designer paper that almost got thrown into the recycle bin….saved at the last moment.
I was doing some cleaning up and found this piece of scrap designer paper that was all torn. I was about to throw it away when I stopped and thought I could use the bottom piece that isn’t torn….it was paper with a quilting design…couldn’t throw that out! So I trimmed it down to these 9 blocks and mounted them onto some pinkish cardstock. The sentiment was computer generated and it was mounted on more of the same pinkish cardstock….then the two little pink bows were added. Everything was glued onto a pink card base when I decided it was still blah so I added a pink bow with a flower to the middle block…..then the plain bottom centre block was annoying me because it was just plain so I stamped a cupcake…..coloured the wrapper and candle pink and used Ranger’s Liquid Pearl for the icing. Much better. One of my quilting friends will like this one for sure.
That’s all for a cool but sunny Friday, September 27, 2019. Have a wonderful weekend everyone – smile at a stranger – do a random act of kindness and enjoy life the best you can.
Cheers
Violet
