Quick and Easy Card

It’s the middle of the week and the last day to be a nice day (except for the cold wind) before we get hit with a major snow storm. It may snow for 24 hours or more….thinking of my blogger friend, Deb, in Arkansas who wishes they had more snow!....I’m wishing we can send this storm to her! It has been a very mild and almost snow free here in Southern Ontario but I’m still tired of winter.
Today’s card is the one I made from the left over bits I had cut off from behind the focal paper from the card I posted on Monday. I hate wasting paper.

The pattern paper rectangle was each cut on the diagonal (see Monday’s posting to see why) so I simply taped them together; cut them even and added the ribbon and bow. It was then glued to the pretty designer paper cut down from a 6” paper pack and was then glued to the card base. The sentiment was stamped on a Spellbinder’s scalloped oval and light cream ink was sponged around it while it was still in the die.
          That’s all for a cool Wednesday, February-05-20.
Cheers
Violet
PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it sometimes take a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
