Winters Back!

Winters back! It started snowing last night just after 9:00 and it hasn’t really quick completely….sometimes a light shower; sometimes quite heavy. The snow was wet so it stuck to the trees and bushes and it was quietly pretty….like the typical ‘winter wonderland’ look…but it’s still snow and I still don’t like it. It was just above normal all day so it melted quickly on the roads so that was a good thing….but its below freezing now and still snowing so the roads could be slippery overnight. Ah winter, time for you to go.
Today’s card is for a man who loves fishing.

The picture within the circle was a free download from the Internet and I quickly coloured it with pencils and blended it with gamsol. Then I pulled out a piece of yellow marbled cardstock and die cut the circle using a Spellbinder’s die. The fisherman was taped behind the yellow and then it was all glued to the green card base. The fish was a free download from the Internet as well and it was printed on photo paper so it was shiny and then I hand cut it. I simply used a black pen to draw a line from his fishing pole to the fish’s mouth. The sentiment was a peel-off and then three black dew drops were added.
        That’s all for Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
Cheers
Violet
