A Moose Card

Wow, this COVID-19 virus is taking over the world. Sad stories from every country and unbelievable that some people (selfish and ignorant) are pretending it is not serious and are going out and about instead of staying home. …it’s the ‘one bad apple ruins the whole bushel’ bit.
However, I figure I may as well keep posting cards and perhaps inspire some creativity for those who are staying home. I happen to like making masculine cards and this moose die has come in very handy.

The moose was die cut out of brown cardstock and then Walnut ink was sponged around the edges to give some dimension. The moose was glued to a Spellbinders die cut circle. The paper is from my stash but I thought it suited this card just fine. It was glued to a Kraft card base. The moose needed something to stand on so he wouldn’t look like he was floating so I glued on a piece of ribbon with a knot tied to the end – men do not like bows, but ribbons and knots seem to be okay. The sentiment was die cut twice – once in white, and once in dark brown and glued together but offset.
That’s all for Friday, March 20, 2020. Have a safe weekend all; stay indoors and create. I’ll be back on Monday with another posting.
Cheers
Violet
