We are having a bit of a heat wave right now – at least for November weather it’s a heat wave. Temperatures are around 15C (59F) and for the next few days it could get up to 20C (68F). Love it. Unfortunately the temperatures will plummet next Wednesday.
Today’s card was almost all hand cut! No
dies for the penguins.
I saw a YouTube video that featured
a die with circles but I don’t own it and not buying it but I liked the card
and decided to make my own. So First the dark blue cardstock was run through an
snowy embossing folder and I lightly ran a white ink pad over the top to just
hit the snowflakes. Then three circles were die cut from it. Then I cut around
the circles leaving about 1/3” border. Snowflake paper was glued to a standard
card base and then the dark blue was glued on. The penguins were stamped;
coloured; and hand cut out. They are glued on with dimensional tape. The
sentiment was stamped; mounted on the same dark blue; and then glued on with
dimensional tape.
That’s all for very mild Friday, on
November 6, 2020.
Cheers
Violet
