It’s been a miserable rainy day here in Ontario but the good news is we don’t have to shovel rain. Okay, confession. We don’t ever shovel snow. That’s a quick way to have a stroke or heart attack at our age so we hire the neighbour to use his snow blower to clear the driveway.
Once again, only the moose is the
same as the other cards. This time I found this designer paper in the stash and
decided it looked like it would fit well on a masculine card. The circle was
die cut from Kraft cardstock using a Spellbinder’s die. The moose needed
something to walk on so the ribbon was glued on with double sided tape and
wrapped around the back so the edge would not fray. Instead of a bow at the
end, a simple knot was tied which is more suitable for a masculine card. Once I
liked the design it was mounted on the dark brown cardstock. The sentiment was
die cut three times; twice from white and once from brown. The white ones were
glued together and then the brown one was added off a bit to add that shadow.
That’s all for
another week of staying safe at home! I’ll be back next week with more cards to
share. Feel free to copy any of the card designs that you like.
Cheers
Violet
