We’ve had a few days of beautiful weather with the A/C off and the windows opened. It may start creeping back up tomorrow but that’s okay.
I was playing with some older dies last week and came up with this idea for a card.
The background was done on glossy paper using a huge background stamp and an ink resist pad. I haven’t used is for years and it was dried up so I bought a reinker. Once the stamped image dried, various inks were sponged over top. It leaves a watermark affect. Cool although hard to see in the photo. It was glued to an orange card base.
The mason jar is a stamp that was stamped on velum and cut out and then the edges were inked. I flipped it over and ran an alcohol pen across the bottom half to look like water. A piece of wide double sided tape was glued to that area. The flowers were stamped, coloured and die cut as was the flourishes. Once they were glued in place the double sided tape on the jar was removed and it was glued into place. The top of the jar was glued and a bow covered that area. Stickles were added to the centre of the flowers. The sentiment is a peel-off.
That’s all for a lovely day on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Cheers
Violet
