Well, we just had a thunderstorm with pounding rain. You would think that would cool things off right? Wrong! It’s still hot and humid and will be all weekend, with more thunderstorms brewing.
Today’s card
was so much fun to make. I only have this one fairy stamp and I’m thinking I
would like some more.
The background
was sponged with several different Distress Inks. Then I placed a circle mask
where I wanted the sun/moon (not sure which it is) to be and then a mask to
cover the entire card except for the oval. Then other inks were stamped inside
the oval. Then the masks were removed, and the image was stamped. Leaves and
grasses from various stamp sets were used to stamp the foliage. A crackle stamp
was used at the top of the card. A darker ink was used around the edges. A gem
was added to her hand and then sequins were added around the card.
That’s all for
a hot and humid Friday, on August 27, 2021. Have a safe and creative weekend
everyone.
