The terrible heat wave has finally broken, and we are back to near normal temperatures again. Thank goodness. I do believe I could live in the southern part of the USA during the summer.
In spite of it
being summer, I’m posting another quilt today. This one is one I made for my
grandson for his 11th birthday. I asked his mom if she thought he
would prefer the usual gift of LEGO or books or a quilt and she said quilt. I
was a little worried he would be disappointed, but he was not. He absolutely
loves trains, especially steam trains, so he was thrilled with his gift.
Joe also has a
love for steam trains and although I posted the quilt I made for him a few
months ago, I’m posting it here as well. The centre panel of both quilts are
the same, but after that I made each one completely different. No pattern for
these, I just make it up as I go. Hope you enjoy them.
Cheers
Violet
