Masculine Card

     Well we are having some lovely April weather - too bad its June, not April. Lots of rain and more cool weather right now. I want the heat! Give me the heat! I’ve waited for months to sit on the front porch or putter in the garden and its too cold to do any of that. Grrrr.

    I have managed to get some card made; working on a quilt for my grandson and future wife who are getting married this summer; and scrapbooking…but those are more fall and winter projects, not June! Here’s one of the cards I made.

                            

    Another card that would be good for a man or teen boy. The background was white cardstock and I used the Stampin’ Up Grunge stamp to add the colours. Then I made the card base out of that brown cardstock; used the the leftover piece to die cut that fancy circle; mounted it on dark blue; popped the dots out and added them to the background as well. The sentiment was silver but silver wasn’t going to work so before I peeled it off I went over it with a dark blue Bic alcohol marker. Much better.
