Bellarific Friday entry April 29

Finally a good nights sleep. Felt so good I popped over to the annual book sale at the Plaza. I don't buy many books because of lack of storage space (takes away crafting supply space) but I do like crafting magazines. I got there late so only a few scrapbooking and card making magazines left but I did score a good many magazines on doll making. Love doll making. I've only made a couple but I want to do more.  No tole painting magazines at all which was a little disappointing but maybe next year. Also picked up a couple of books to read to the grandsons while they are here. They always want the same two books reads, over and over and over, but I'm pretty sure they will like these two for a change - one of them is Robert Munsch - for .25 I couldn't pass it up.

Anyway, enough rambling, here is my entry for the April 29th Bellarific challenge. It was suppose to celebrate your mother, grandmother, etc. but as I don't have either one, I just put "celebrate" on the front and I'll turn it into a birthday card.

I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol but the chair turned out darker then I wanted it and her dress was then to light and the chair ended up being the focal image. Not good. So I got out my tombow markers and gave her a nice orange dress. Much better. Not what I had envisioned but that's life.
