Holiday - Magic - Cheer Card

Two posts today - I'm on a roll! Last night I made a card for the Merry Monday Challenge (www.alwaysplayingwithpaper.blogspot.com) and it has to be entered by noon today.

Once again they provide a sketch and the only rule is to make a Christmas card using the sketch. I think this sketch will be good for other occasions too. I liked it.

The colour is a little off. (I retook the picture - much better). I have been blaming the camera because the white portions look a little bit off-white but then I realized that the new energy saving light bulb we bought has an yellowish/orangie tinge to it. So, the white part is very white in real life.
The small stamps are part of a set I bought from Paper Wishes a few years ago so not sure what company they are from as I threw out the packaging. I stamped them in Stampin' Up Almost Navy to match the card base. The small round snowflakes were easy to make. I punched out the circles and placed each one on top of a snowflake in the Cuttlebug embossing folder and ran it thru. The background came pre-embossed - I won it  so I don't know what company made it either. I ran some blue ink over the top of the embossed area and around the side and it just happens to match the blue strip.
