Tomorrow You Can Eat Broccoli

Not much to report today but I do have a card to share with you. This one is for another son-in-law who's birthday is tomorrow. Its in the mail but who knows if it will get there in time.

No idea what company made the paper because it was given to me...double sided which made it easy to co-ordinate. I added the black ribbon to hide the seam and to pick up the black in the design in the top paper and the star. The star is from Hot Off the Press and I stamped it on white card stock with black ink and embossed it; then I rubbed various Distress inks over it - Mustard Seed in the middle and then a few others around the edge blending them all together. Then I cut around it and inked the edges with dark brown ink. The sentiment was also embossed and it came with the same stamp set.

Here's the inside of the card where the Title came from

The sentiments were computer generated, printed out and die cut using Sizzix dies, light teal chalk rubbed in to give it some colour to match the front (chalk is from the Stampin' Up set also from the thrift store). The cupcake is also a Sizzix die - one I got at the thrift store for about $3.00. I added some glitter to the top of it to make it shiny. Ross loves chocolate so I think he'll get a kick out of this one.
