The Frugal Crafter left a comment on yesterday's post suggesting I take pictures of my haul from
Wednesday but alas, I’m a Virgo, and I can’t stand stuff just piled up so the
paper is all sorted and stored into the correct bins, the embellishments and
beads are put away and stamps are where they go. If I every make another great
haul I try to remember to photograph it.
Today’s card was made from the sketch provided by Stamping
Bella for her weekly challenge. Anyone who has a current Bella stamp can enter.
Here’s mine.
All paper is from the scrap bin (yes, also sorted by
colour). I actually followed the sketch pretty closely this time. The image was
coloured with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol. Light blue ink was
dusted around the image with stencil brushes. I would love the Judikins brushes
but they don’t sell them here so stencil brushes have to work. This gives a
much softer look than the sponges. All dies were Spellbinders. The bottom label
one is popped up with dimensional glue dots.
And that is all for a Friday. Have a great weekend everyone.
I have an art journal page I may post tomorrow. I haven't done much in the way of mixed media or art journal pages lately but the interest is still there.
Cheers
Violet
Ha! Hubby is a Virgo and clutter bothers him too. :) Everything in its place.
ReplyDeleteLove this card Violet. And the fact that even your scrap bin is color sorted. If you could see the shelf that i keep my MailArt supplies on you would run away screaming. LOL! Hugs! deb
