Still
bitter cold; still not leaving the house; still no news…..so we’ll get right to
today’s card.
Yesterday
I posted a card made with one of the new dies I won from Die-Namites. This
green paper is the piece that they were cut from….it just happened to be a
square piece sitting in my stash. Because it was a big piece, I made sure that
I die cut it leaving an edge so I could fill in the negative piece for another
card….and that is what I did. First I die cut it out of the green, which
actually has a mottled pattern in it and then I die cut just the flowers and
added them on top….just a single layer this time. Stickles were added to the
centres and when I was taking the pictures I noticed some of the centres had
dried back too far so I added more Stickles later on. The strip along the left
side is another piece from my stash. The sentiment and the silver border strips
are peel-offs which were added after I glued it to the lighter moss green
paper, which was glued to the card base. Lots of layers!
That’s
all from the frozen north on a Thursday,
Cheers

Hello Violet from the foggy, warm west coast. :) The sun is just going down and its the first time i've seen it today.. The almond trees are in bloom really messing with my allergies i think... I swear i've been sniffling for a month now.. uughh... Love your card... I've been painting on a couple of canvases and some postcards...everything else is packed. Open house happens this weekend...cross your fingers and toes and eyeballs that we get some good offers. :) Stay warm and safe!! Hugs! deb
