Yet another cold wind blowing today and even with the sun shining
we needed heavier coats on again today. We expect to cut the grass and do a
clean-up of the garden tomorrow as the grass is getting a bit shaggy looking.
We don’t normally cut the grass wearing heavy coats but we may have to. Sunday
is suppose to be a little warmer but who knows.
Not much to report today so we’ll get right to the post. This
card was made with one of the new releases from Penny Black.
I coloured the stamp with Tombow markers, spritzed on water and
stamped it on water colour paper. I added some extra colour where needed with a
wet paint brush. Once it was completely dry I wet the background and added
blue, green and some purple here and there to create a muted background. Gems
and glitter were added and let dry. Shiny thread was wrapped around a few times
for some extra bling. The banner was hand cut, mounted on a darker colour
cardstock and glued on. This was then glued to the same paper as the banner was
cut from and then to the card base. The sentiment and gold flower is a
peel-off.
That’s all for a Friday. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Cheers
Violet
