Keeping it Easy

Sunny here today but that cold wind will just not go away. Not much to report as it was a very quiet day here. My sister stopped in just before noon to pick up her computer that I cleaned up for her – she had some viruses and other issues. I don’t know much about computers but I know how to do that! This afternoon I wrestled trying to put my completed scrapbook pages into albums. I would get one end on the post and the other end would pop out. AAAGGGHHH. I need an extra hand or two trying to do that.

Today’s card is one that is so easy to do but looks so nice.

I die cut the Memory Box butterfly panel and left quite a bit of room on the left so I could then put that part into a single Cuttlebug folder and emboss that part. I ran some dark ink over the embossed areas in some parts. Once it was glued to the yellow I inked the edges of the yellow with the same ink. The sentiment was stamped using a multi-coloured ink pad – again, just for some variation – and I stamped it vertical instead of horizontal. This was a quick and easy card but I liked how it turned out.
