Birds and Nature

No card today. I decided to post a few photos of some birds that I took this week. Most of our parks and conservation areas are closed but there are a few trails that are still open to the public as long as we use safe distance practice. It is definitely working in Chatham as we have only 89 cases of COVID-19 and 52 of those are from one greenhouse where men live in a bunkhouse so it quickly spread.
I do make some of my bird photos into cards but I will leave that for next week’s posting.

This one was in our backyard.

The baby Great Horned owls just fledged this week but were in trees close to their nest so I was able to get some good shots of them. There is one male and one female baby this year....the females are bigger than the males so that's how they tell.

The Brown Creepers are hard to photograph.

Hope you enjoy these photos and have yourself a wonderful and safe weekend.

Cheers
Violet
