Winter’s back! Its very cold here and we even had some snow showers over the weekend but fortunately its all but melted. March came in with a lion and stayed that way! April is looking to be a very wet month, but hopefully, not as cold.
Today I’m posting four cards! Four of the fastest, easiest cards I’ve ever made. The credit for this idea goes to my friend, Jackie, who owns The Pampered Stamper, a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. She got it from another demonstrator which is usually the way it goes in card making. Here are the cards.
These cards were made to donate to our hospice. They send out a thinking of you card on the one year anniversary of someone’s passing at the hospice. Home made cards are so appreciated I like to make a pile and then donate them. I chose these colours for them to send to the men who lost their wives.
There are four different patterns from the same paper pack used; plus a punched oval and thinking of you peel-off. The process is called Stack and Shuffle. I’ve seen this done on a much larger scale using fabric but never thought of doing it with paper.
To watch the video on how to make these, go to YouTube: The Pampered Stamper’s Stack and Shuffle.
Don’t forget to leave a comment and tell her where you live and how you found her - just say Crafty Violet sent you over. No, I don’t get freebies for this. I just like to pass on crafter’s blogs and YouTube channels that I think you might like.
Jackie just posted another card today that I really like too. I’m trying that one next.
That’s all for a very cold and windy Monday, March 28, 2022.
Cheers
Violet
PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it sometimes takes a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
I'll bet alot of fabric - quilting ideas would work for cards... Love this Violet! I will go check her out!! Hugs! deb
