Ahhh….beautiful summer weather. A wee bit hot if out in the sun but in the shade, lovely. We have no A/C on even and its comfortable in the house. This will likely end tomorrow as the temps will creep up into the 90F’s and even into the 100F’s next week but I’m enjoying it while it lasts. Rain would be a blessing though - so dry here.
So, today is wolf card number 3. This is the one that was sent.
Once again, the moon and sky were done exactly like the card that was posted two days back so please scroll back to read it. In this card you can see the entire die - the black rim around the moon; the trees on the left; the wolf and the hill he is standing on. This time I used that single tall skinny tree die and did a partial cutting so it left the entire tree and ground as one piece. Jennifer McGuire demonstrates this technique all the time and I’ve started to use it more and more. For complete instructions, please go to her site or any YouTube and search for partial cutting. Basically you place the top cutting platform (I have a Big Shot) where you want the cutting to stop instead of on top of the entire die. If there is no pressure over the die, it will not cut. I had to do some trimming afterwards but that’s all right. I just wanted the tree to be part of the ground part and not separate….just because, no real reason.
