Another beautiful day here in Ontario - so far - they are predicting thundershowers but we’ve heard that too many times with nothing happening to actually believe it. We need rain - a good all day rain, not a quick 5 minute thunderstorm downpour but we’ll even take that at this point.
Today’s card was made from a stamped and water coloured image I had in the stash.
I had These roses stamped on water colour paper and then painted but never used it in a card. So the first thing I did was die cut it with a stitched oval. Then I went into the stash to find some paper that went well with it. I found that greenish designer paper that actually has leaves and flowers printed on it but with about the same colour as the paper so it looks like a water mark. Then I pulled out that wine paper and card base that picked up the dark colours in the roses. Once everything was glued in place, I added the small bow to the flowers and the peel-off sentiment. It still needed something else so I picked off all those little peel-off bits, left over from the actual peel-off, and carefully arranged them on the top of the card. They look like rain drops - at least to me they do.
That’s all for a beautiful Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Cheers
Violet

I love your card Violet and all the time and effort you put into it. I wish i had your patience.. Starting this afternoon... we have 10 days of rain in our forecast... Even if only a few of those days actually produce rain it will be soooo nice.. ! Hugs! deb
