Masculine Card

 We had a very rainy weekend. It was our plan to attend a nearby fall fair yesterday and go to their demolition derby, but the rain kept us home. I did get all 16 Halloween cards finished though so that’s good. I’ll be posting them later this week. Today I’m posting a masculine card.

                                          

This card used a lot of techniques. It’s almost a mixed media card. For the card background I used a stencil that looked like rope and stenciled it on with light blue ink. Then I die cut a rectangle out in the middle of it and added the focal image, the boat, behind it. The boat is a free download from the Internet. I just die cut a black frame to go around it and glued it to the black card base. The stork and the posts were also die cut; assembled; and glued to the bottom left corner. The sentiment is a black peel-off. Except for assembling the stork and posts, it was a quick card to make.
