I’m back again
with a ‘What should I do next” card to share. I had found a free download on
the Internet of an old Singer sewing machine and decided to print it out and
make it into a card. Unfortunately, I forgot to hit ‘print to size” and my printer
cut some of it off. Grrr. I hated to throw it out so after looking at it for awhile
I decided to cut out the sewing machine part and go from there. Here is the
result.
Besides the sewing machine, I also hand cut some flowers and buttons and the spool of thread from other parts of the card. I found this pretty background paper in my stash and inked the edges in pink to pick up the pink in the flowers. It was mounted on a 4.25x.5.5 card base. The sewing machine was added with dimensional dots and strips. Then the flowers, buttons and spool were added; some flat, some on dimensional dots. I found the sentiment in my stash of odds and ends; inked the edges in the same pink and added it with dimensional dots as well.
As I belong to the
local quilt guild, this card will come in handy.
That’s all for a
dreary, rainy Tuesday on October 1, 2024.
I cannot believe its October already. The year has flown by.
Cheers
Violet
