A Silver Reindeer Card

We had our annual Quilt Guild Christmas party last night and it was so enjoyable. We just do a potluck of appetizers and/or desserts….lots of door prizes….and I won one of them – a set of quilted coasters and two fabric gift card holders…..and they had a group of the Sweet Adeline’s - 16 ladies from the Windsor area - who came and sang some songs. In case you are not familiar with the Sweet Adeline’s they are the female version of Barbershop type of singing - no music...they were good and we enjoyed them. Joe told me in the afternoon that he bets the quilt guild’s Christmas party is the only one in town that ends so early everyone is home by 9:00….he was right. I was home at 8:50! Party animals we are NOT.

This Spellbinder die has so many possibilities and is not limited to just one type of card – which I like. So I simply die cut the snowflake cardstock and some white cardstock and switched the die cut elements. Two cards from the two passes. For this one I used silver peel-offs to decorate the white swirl. I liked the reindeer jumping in the middle of the large circle. The sentiment was easy to bend to fit into the top of the swirl. A couple of silver stars and snowflakes were added and then it was blued to a white card base.
