A Purple Card

This was a difficult weekend with all the violent protesting and looting in the United States. Sad happenings down there for sure.  We are sometimes bombarded with so much bad news it seems there isn’t any good people left in the world…but there are many and that’s what I prefer to focus on.
Today’s card was another ‘use up the stash’ card and yet I really like how it turned out.

I had a couple of pieces of this purple cardstock in the stash. It was only large enough to fit half the card base so I found the light purple check one and used it for the top of the card. Then the second piece of cardstock was die cut into a square but added on an angle. Silver peel-off strips were added around it and then the flower dimensional sticker was glued in the centre. Silver peel-off corner bits and sentiment were then added. This was a quick and easy card to make and yet it turned out okay.
The weather continues to fluctuate more than ever.  Last week it was in the 90F and then over the weekend it was only in the high 30F….tomorrow it will be back in the 90’s. Crazy weather for sure.
That’s all for a sunny and warm Monday, June-01-20 20.
Cheers
Violet
