Today’s card was made from an old greeting card. I love repurposing these when I can.
Someone gave me a bag of greeting cards and a lot of them were from England and were huge 6” x 8” cards. This little girl and sled were a small portion of the card. I cut the image down in size and mounted it on red glitter paper. Then I mounted it on the card base which was covered with some Christmas paper. This is a 5” x 7” card. Then I die cut the sentiment with deckle edge die. I attempted to die cut the glitter paper with another deckle edge die but it just would not cut so I used some old Fiskars’s deckle edge scissors instead. That worked. I'm glad to see this card gets to give someone else a smile before it gets tossed.
That’s all for a sunny but cool Thursday (forgot to post yesterday) on November 12, 2020.
