The heat wave is over and we are back to chilly…no, make that cold, weather. Yuck! I’m tired of winter already! And this is a Friday the 13th in the year 2020 – as if 2020 needed more bad days! I actually pay no attention to the Friday the 13th woes. It’s just another day for me.
Today’s card is yet another Christmas card using bits from old cards.
Once again I had a very old Christmas card that was donated to me that had these houses on it. I believe this card came from England and it was huge – like 6x8. The houses were just so pretty I hated to throw the card out so I hand cut each one out. Then I had to do something with them! The sky was actually the back of the same card. It was perfect. I die cut some hills…some stitched hills and some plain and tucked the houses in where they would fit the best. Tiny shiny trees were then added. The sentiment was die cut and glued on and then card front was glued to the blue card base which really picked up the colour of a couple of the houses. I love how this turned out and I hope I can some more of these cards from England donated to me.
That’s all for
a cold and windy Friday on November 13, 2020.
Cheers
Violet
