I’m back! I’ve been missing in action for a few days only because I have been so busy getting in some much needed exercise; quilting during the day and making cards after supper that by the time I’m done for the day, I’m too tired to be bothered turning the computer on. Our lovely warmer-than-usual-for-this-time-of-the-year weather has disappeared and the cold air is back! We even had a dusting of snow the other night that stayed on the lawns most of the day. Bah Humbug to snow!
Today’s card
falls into the quick and easy category.
When I’m not feeling very creative or having a bad day health wise, I like to sit and cut left over bits of paper in no wider than ½” and then glue them onto scrap paper. I had these blue strips already glued onto a piece of scrap paper and then run through a snowflake embossing folder. Time to use it up!
I had this cute
mini card from a 6” card pack and decided it would make a nice contrast to the
blue. Sometimes I like everything to match and sometimes it looks boring. I did
mount the trees onto blue though to tie it to the background. The sentiment is
a peel-off.
That’s all for
a cold (it was just around the freezing mark this morning) Wednesday on November
18, 2020.
Cheers
Violet
