Hope you are
not tired of Christmas cards because I have a lot of them to post.
This card was pretty much a quick and easy card as well as
the last one I posted. The cup was die cut from thick cardstock and the foam
from thick glitter foam. I wasn’t sure it would cut foam but it did just fine.
The snowflake was part of the set as well. Then I had no idea what I was going
to do with it. So, the first think I did was die cut a stitched banner and glue
it on with dimensional tape. What next. I had this white snowflake frame
already cut out – I thought it was card size when I ordered it – obviously
didn’t read the specifications – and wondered if I would ever use it. So, I
mounted it on a piece of green cardstock and glued it to the top left corner of
a card base that came with small embossed trees. Then the cup and banner were
glued to the top right. The sentiment was die cut two or three times and glued
together to make it thicker and then it was glued in place. Cute card. I don’t
mind it. It could even be used as a thinking of you or birthday card actually. Wishing everyone a fun and safe weekend. I'll be so glad when this pandemic is over. None of my children live in this city....one is 2 hours away, one 3 hours and one is 9 hours away. When my 10 year old grandson heard that a vaccine may be coming soon the first thing he said was, "Oh good. We can go see Grandma and Grampa again!" Warmed my heart to hear that. Stay safe everyone!
Cheers
Violet
